China to Dominate African Lithium Production

China is set to dominate Lithium production in Africa this decade, with over 90% of supply set to come from mining companies partly or fully owned by the Chinese companies, according to Benchmark.

Of the 27 planned Lithium mines in Africa, Chinese companies are full owners of Eight (8) and majority owners of three (3) companies, Benchmark Data shows.
